Connect for Good Challenge

Got an idea that uses tech to help the planet? Tell us how data and/or AI can be used for a chance to win a scholarship to our next Digital Camp. Selected teams will be invited to pitch for place in our 2024 Digital Incubator.

  • Dec 9th 2023: Digital Camp online
  • Feb 10th 2024: Digital Camp at London Zoo and online
  • July 2024 – dates to be confirmed – One Week Digital Camp (typical information for this week camp found below).

    Proceeds from all tickets support the development of a sustainable digital education programme to help students build and launch their projects, and a fund to support girls and future talent with mentoring and leadership skills.

  • Prepare for Work Experience. We’ll help you get started building your personal story and experience profile.  Learn how to present your best self and find work experience.

Connect for good challenge

During the Digital Camp, students will participate in an Ideas Hackathon for products/services using technology to help reduce our carbon footprint. Students that want to take their ideas further and gain work experience can join the 3-Day Digital Incubator experience and apply for the Digital Incubator programme to learn how to launch a start-up business.

Daily Camp Agenda

The camp runs daily from 9am to 5pm. Below is the typical agenda. Detailed agenda will be provided to registrants in July

What you will need:

You will need a PC or Mac and a smart phone ideally with video camera plus charging cables. You will receive email instructions for any further software downloads required for workshops.

Under 18’s require a consent form by a parent / guardian. Under 14’s attending the event in London must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Girls' scholarship places:

Do you know any girls with a passion for tech and a story or project to share? Nominate them (or yourself) to be invited as our guest! If you know girls with a love of learning and who would like to serve as a Connect for Good Ambassador, nominate them using the form below for one of up to 20 scholarship places to join Digital Camp and Connect for Good programme for free.
